The standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for circular submerged arc welded steel tubes with specified elevated temperature properties manufactured of non-alloy and alloy steels. It specifies the requirements for taking samples and the methods of testing.
Welded pipes of the following types:
· SAWH (spiral welding)
· SAWL (longitudinal welding)
The scope of the standard includes :
Circular submerged arc welded steel tubes with specified elevated
temperature properties manufactured of non-alloy and alloy steels./
from 406,4 to 2540 mm /
Steel grades: P235GH ,P265GH, 16Mo3
Two testing categories are also distinguished in this case:
· TC1
· TC2
which differ with respect to the test type and, most of all, with the fact that ultrasound testing is introduced in the case of the TC2 group.
